It’s now May 1st and the release of Armageddon is here on the Kindle.
Armageddon takes place in the aftermath of the events of The Blackstar Gambit. Col Sec is still reeling after the incident in Washington DC where thousands lost their lives by the hand of Goran Visjic the man who was determined to destroy the Confederation and restore his family to glory using the dna taken from Kurt Stryder and Zara Hardy.
The two agents finally thwarted Visjic’s plan in spectacular fashion but that still left the destruction to Washington and the consequences that followed.
Consequences are where we pick up the story up and how the team are dealing with all the changes. They have a new head of Col Sec in General Gemmell who took over after General Sinclair resigned to take the blame for the atrocity, a ruse on President Takagi’s part for he wanted him to head up his new unit the OSI which you can read about in Savage by Nature, the first Captain Savage thriller. The rest of the team find things will never be the same again. Gemmell promotes Colonel Bergkamp to the head of the Wildfire Initiative while he takes over the rest of Col Sec.
In the background a mysterious group calling themselves the New Order plan on taking over the Confederation and start by attempting to dispose of President Takagi.
The stakes are high in this one as the New Order plant mini nukes in various strategic locations all well populated and threaten to detonate them if their demands are not met. The race is on to locate and disarm these deadly devices and learn who is behind it all. The action races across the galaxy as determined forces throw themselves into the battle against the Wildfire Team and it’s anyone’s guess who will come out on top.
Armageddon is book 9 in the Col Sec series and is available now here
