After seven years and fifteen books I have reached, what i consider is a milestone in my writing career. Book ten in my sci fi action adventure space opera, the Col Sec series is about to be published.

The book is called Annihilation and it follows closely the adventures of the Wildfire Team which by now has been depleted after the tragic loss of two of their team mates in the last book. The rest of the team are trying to come to terms with their loss as another threat rises up to question their ability to keep the Colonial Confederation secure.

An old enemy in the form of Omega has gained control of a weapon so powerful it could cripple an entire planet. On their way to Earth in the massive dreadnought, the Nemesis, they attack a defenseless colony followed by the shipyards on Io before heading for their final target, Earth. As they prepare to strike at the heart of the Confederation another threat looms just waiting for the opportunity to strike.

Earth is attacked with devastating results and in this moment the New Order, fresh from their defeat at the hands of the Wildfire Team decide to strike at the Confederation Council including the President himself who had been evacuated to another world when news of the strike was heard.

All hope is not lost though, even though Earth is without power and those left on the surface have to find a way to survive without the benefit of technology, a strategy is formed to form a defence against this weapon.

Fighting two enemies on two very different fronts Kurt and the Wildfire Team face immeasurable odds as they fight against the possibility of total annihilation.
