As a full time writer the hardest part of the process for me has always been how to market said work.
I’m sure other writers have the same feeling toward this as I do, that it is a task best left to the experts. I first learned how hard it is when I first started writing. The book was finished and I self published it and sat back waiting for the royalties to pour in. When that didn’t happen I wondered what I was doing wrong and it was pointed out to me when someone asked, ‘what marketing plan do you have in place’ to which I replied, “What?”
After that, when it had been fully explained to me that I had to get the word out to people about the book and it was my job to ensure the book reached as many readers as possible that I realised I had no idea what I was doing.
Marketing is a specific specialty that should only be done, either when you’ve learned everything there is to know about it, or by the experts. As we all know though, learning a new craft or skill set takes time, and experts don’t come cheap so there I was, stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place with nowhere to turn.
That was some years ago though and although I still haven’t learned the necessary skills I was invited to advertise on a renowned website recently. DrWhoOnline gave me the opportunity to place an ad on their website. This is a fantastic opportunity, they have upwards of 3 million views every month so I can be assured that my readership will increase and my brand awareness will improve.
The ad has been placed and is now running so if you’d like to check it out, to see my it and all the other wonderful things they have on there then click the link below.

If you click on my ad it will take you to my website from Red Penguin Books, my publisher where you can view the trailers for every book and purchase the books directly from there. Have a great time checking this out and please leave a comment below with your thoughts or if you have any questions or if you want to just stop by to say Hi, I would appreciate it.
