Red Penguin Books will be releasing Retribution some time in November which is great news for fans of this series not only because they will get this new edition with brilliant new artwork for the cover but also there will be a bonus story as well.

I took the decision to add the next story in the series as bonus material for this book because it was smaller than the rest of the series. I always felt a little guilty about asking a full book price for something that was landed somewhere between a novel and novella. The book, Extinction details a mission that Captain Tony Storm and his team have that harkens back to something that happened when General Sinclair was a junior officer. This story plays out and connects with the book that follows, Resurrection.

As with the other Col Sec titles Extinction has all the prerequisite action and adventure you expect from a full sized adventure and it rattles along with breath taking speed that you’ll need a breather when you finish it. As a bonus for Retribution, it makes this new book something to look out for and is a welcome addition to the series.
